Participate in Generosity Weekend, April 11-13
Last year, between April 13 and 15, several thousand new people were
introduced to the radical notion that "homeland security" could be better and
more ethically obtained through generosity toward all of the people on the planet as opposed to being obtained through domination.
Many of those people have become active in our campaign to make it real
through the "Global Marshall Plan for Universal Security, Wellbeing, and

EARTH FAIR 2008

Vote Earth Candidates Forum at the Organ Pavillion
Co-Sponsored by the Network of Spiritual Progressives- San Diego,
the Sierra Club and San Diego Earthworks

The EarthFair celebration in San Diego is the largest free environmental
fair in the world. Each year the EarthFair draws around 60,000 visitors.
The "VOTE EARTH CANDIDATES FORUM" will be held throughout the day
at the Organ Pavilion to allow San Diego residents an opportunity to pose questions to the candidates, partucularly questions about how candidates
plan to help put San Diego on the list of America's Greenist Cities.
Each candidate will be given 7 minutes to speak. That will be followed by a
question and answer period. If you have a question, you will be asked to
write it down on cards that will be passed out and then collected before the
question and answer period begins, conducted by a moderator.
11:05 - 12:00 Noon Candidates for San Diego City Council District 3 (Hillcrest,
Balboa Park):

12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Candidates for San Diego Mayor:
Jerry Sanders, Floyd Morrow, and Steve Francis
1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Organ Concert
3:30 - 5:00 p.m. Candidates for San Diego City Attorney:
Mike Aguirre, Amy Lepine, and Jan Goldsmith
EarthFair 2008 ends at 5:00 pm.
The Network of Spiritual Progressives, San Diego are pleased to co-sponsor
this event together with the Sierra Club and San Diego Earthworks.

The celebration opens at 10 am and at 11:00 am City Councilmember
Donna Frye will be at the Organ Pavilion to formally introduce EarthFair
2008. Immediately after her introduction, the Candidates Forum will begin. All candidates for the offices below were invited to participate.
