MORE ABOUT NSP
The San Diego Chapter of the Network of Spiritual Progressives
is part of a national movement which was first envisioned in 2005
by the national chair of the TIKKUN Community, Rabbi Michael
Lerner, as an alternative to the religious "Right" and a new
direction for the progressive "Left."

Spiritual Progressives share values implicit in most of the major
spiritual and religious traditions: love, justice, peace, freedom, humility, and compassion for all life. We advocate stewardship of the earth and we support actions that bring the world closer to ending global and domestic poverty and hunger.

Co-founders include Benedictine Sister Joan Chittister and
Cornel West.

The Network of Spiritual Progressives is an alternative to the
religious "Right" and represents a new direction for the
progressive "Left." It is an interfaith network of spiritually alive people looking to change the Bottom Line in America.
In addition to Quarterly Chapter meetings, many members meet monthly in smaller
SPIRIT GROUPS.
